Activations + Partnerships
The 99 Neighborhoods Network is a Los Angeles-centric model that connects communities within the County Watershed in collaboration with neighborhood ambassadors.
Our recent initiatives include pilot projects with university students resulting in StoryMaps, archived interviews, and photo essays spotlighting cultural landmarks. Our activations with community based organizations like CicLAvia and Rediscover have resulted in a repository of community input on big, bold ideas for neighborhood resiliency. As a Community Partner to the 2025 launched ShadeLA campaign we are facilitating more cool paths, plazas, and playgrounds that reduce urban heat island and encourages healthy activity and community connections on high heat days.
